Hunter's Learning Journey
Tuesday, 9 June 2015
Our topic in room 8 is strength so we are studying bridges and
so on last Friday we decided that we needed to see some up close.
The first bridge we came upon was the strong steel Victoria bridge for pedestrian
and vehicles like cars and trucks.
Then we decided to sketch the Victoria st bridge. Here is Harry sketching his bridge.
Then we reached the Claudlands bridge. We were lucky to see a train passing over the bridge
Then we got to the Fairfield bridge which has tide arches which means there are arches on the top.
